Summer advice for fishery managers. Act now to protect your fishery with the prolonged dry weather it can affect fish stocks and the fisheries they support. Where water levels fall, fish may be at risk due to low dissolved oxygen levels, especially during warm weather and where there is a lot of weed growth. We are encouraging fishery managers to take action now to minimise the risk to their stocks. Fishery managers will be well aware of the risks affecting their waters, but we hope this advice will be a useful reminder.

This year we have split the competition between Ferry Meadows and the Nene at Orton In Peterborough.

Please place Sunday 17th Sept 2017 in your match diary and I look forward to receiving your entry.

More information on the venues and how the match will be split will follow, but within each 6 man team, you will name 3 anglers on each venue prior to the draw as shown on the entry. With 3 sections placed on each venue.
