Summer advice for fishery managers. Act now to protect your fishery with the prolonged dry weather it can affect fish stocks and the fisheries they support. Where water levels fall, fish may be at risk due to low dissolved oxygen levels, especially during warm weather and where there is a lot of weed growth. We are encouraging fishery managers to take action now to minimise the risk to their stocks. Fishery managers will be well aware of the risks affecting their waters, but we hope this advice will be a useful reminder.
